After a successful launch in 2025, Wild Roots Nature Fest will be back from 6th to 14th June 2026.
Wild Roots Nature Fest is an annual festival taking part in mid-June during The Great Big Green Week series of events based in and around Lancaster District. The festival is a celebration of the natural world, and our aim is to help people to connect (or reconnect) with nature for their own benefit and to appreciate and make space for nature itself.
Follow Wildlife Wellbeing Walks on Facebook for updates.
We are still adding to the 2026 programme of events, so please check back regularly for updates. If there is an event you are particularly keen to join, please email admin@wildlifewalk.co.uk and let us know so we can email you as soon as booking for that event opens.
For events where booking is not required, you can just turn up on the day.
All Wild Roots Nature Fest sessions are on a donation only basis.

World Localisation Day aims to ‘catalyze collective action to rebuild healthy local economies, communities and local food systems’. Held on 21st June, just after Wild Roots, this is a great opportunity to support local systems and economies.
